Park Information
Since 1949, Jefferson Memorial Park has been a place of fun and relaxation for the families of Charles Town. Today, the park has so many things to offer. Four pavilions are available to rent for all occasions. There are 2 playgrounds featuring slides, swings, climbing sets and various other ways to entertain your family. The paved walking trail winds its way around the park offering the perfect opportunity to have a walk and see the park. Throughout the park, there are benches for taking a break and enjoying the scenery. There is also a memorial standing near the tennis courts commemorating American Military service men and women in past conflicts.
The Jefferson Memorial Park is not managed by the Jefferson County Parks and Recreation organization. It is privately held and run by a board of directors.
