Children's Tennis Lessons at Park
The Jefferson County Memorial Park will hold its tri-state area children's tennis camp on June 9 - 13. Beginners and advanced beginners will meet from 9am - 11am daily. Intermediate and advanced players will meet from 11am - 12:30pm each day. The program is open to girls and boys ages 3 - 18 at a cost of $45 for the entire summer with family discounts. Leagues and tournaments run June 16 - August 10.

Registration will be held at the park tennis pavilion, rain or shine, located on South Mildred Street extended in Charles Town on the following dates: May 30 from 4 - 7pm; May 31 from 9am - 4pm; June 6 from 4pm - 7pm; and June 7 from 9am - 4pm.

USTA Junior Tennis Tournaments
The Jefferson County Memorial Park will host a series of Junior USTA tennis tournaments at Jefferson High School this summer. The Jefferson Interscholastic Open with girls and boys ages 8 -18 will be held on May 24 & 25.

To enter on line, access the USTA Mid-Atlantic District website at www.midatlantic.usta.com and click on junior tournaments for the month of May. Entry deadline is May 20 at midnight. Non-USTA members may call 304-725-7929 for entry information.
